I believe that primary school memories should be amongst the best a person has. It is a time when children have great enthusiasm and a thirst for discovery and learning. It is our challenge at Springhead to make the most of your child’s potential at this crucial time. I want all of our children to enjoy their time at Springhead and leave the school at the age of eleven as confident young people with an enjoyment in learning.
Our school is a safe, secure, caring community where we are all working together so that the children can achieve their best. We aim to give children quality learning experiences in a wide range of subjects so that they can develop their strengths and improve their weaknesses. Children learn best when they are practically involved in their learning and can use their creativity and imagination – we use this in all subjects, whether it is English, Maths, History, Art or P.E.
Successfully educating a child is achieved by a partnership between parents and school. We look forward to working with you in the education of your child.
We value good behaviour and aim for the children to leave the school as tolerant, responsible youngsters who consider the effect of their actions on others.
