Our Nursery is open during term time only, offering either part‑time or full‑time places. All nursery‑aged children are entitled to 15 hours of free universal childcare per week, and some families may also be eligible for 30 hours free childcare (for working parents).
Universal Provision (15 hours)
These hours can be taken in either of the following ways:
- 5 mornings: 8:45am – 11:45am
- 5 afternoons: 12:15pm – 3:15pm
Full‑Time Provision (32.5 hours)
- 8:45am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, covering the full school week.
- An additional cost applies for the 2.5 hours of provision beyond the 30‑hour entitlement
- Children staying for lunch (11:45am – 12:15pm) on either a 15 hour or 32.5 hour timetable will incur a lunchtime supervision charge, regardless of full‑time or part‑time status.
Fully-Funded, Full-Time Provision (30 hours)
For families eligible for 30 hours free childcare, an alternative option is shown below that does not incur a lunchtime supervision charge,
- Monday–Thursday: 8:45am – 3:15pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 11:45am
Lunch Arrangements (for full‑day attendance)
If your child stays over lunchtime (11:45am – 12:15pm), you may choose:
- School lunch – a charge will be incurred for this
- Packed lunch from home
Additional Sessions for Part-Time Pupils
If you are not eligible for 30 hours but wish to buy extra sessions beyond the universal 15 hours, please speak to the school office and we may be able to accomodate this. Any additional sessions booked for part-time pupils will be done so on a tempary basis, and reviewed at least every term.
